The League for Innovation
in the Community College

Who We Are

The League for Innovation in the Community College is an international organization dedicated to catalyzing the community college movement. To achieve its mission, the League hosts conferences and institutes, develops web resources, conducts research, produces publications, provides services, and leads projects and initiatives with more than 800 member colleges, 160 corporate partners and various other agencies in our continuing efforts to make a positive difference for students and communities.

What We Are Doing to Promote College Completion

At the League's two major annual conferences, thousands of community college educators interact and share with each other in forums, roundtables, focus groups and poster sessions. Many of these sessions are catalogued in our searchable online database of innovations, which now boasts more than 4,000 innovation descriptions and contacts to educators nationally and internationally.

League print and digital publications, written largely by practitioners, include successful strategies and practices in student and organizational learning.

The League's Innovation Stream, or iStream, is a repository of video, audio, text, and eLearning resources, including streaming keynote and other presentations from League conferences and electronic versions of all League publications.
